In 2018 the Chinese company Oppo, exactly ten years after the launch of its first device, ranked at number 5 in the global list of the biggest smartphone brands. Its next step is Reno, a new smartphone lineup of three different models: Reno, Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 5G. They all came with panoramic 19.5:9 OLED display, which is completely notch-less thanks to its unique design; a pivot rising, shark fin-like hidden selfie camera pop ups in 0,8 seconds when it’s needed. It can be used for more than 200,000 times successfully, Oppo says, and automatically retracts when the phone is free-fall. This is a real fullscreen design, with a screen-to-body ratio up to 93,1%. Reno 10x Zoom and Reno 5G both feature a triple camera whose design was announced by Oppo at MWC 2019, some months ago in Barcelona. Ranging from ultrawide to telephoto, the camera’s focal length is an impressive 16-160mm, with F1.7 aperture and Ultra-Night Mode 2.0 for noise reduction and enhanced dynamic range during low-light photography; the 48MP main camera uses dual optical image stabilization system (OIS).

Oppo’s flash charging system VOOC 3.0 provides ultra fast recharge – Oppo Reno 5G and 10x Zoom come with a 4065mAh battery, one of the most powerful on the market, while Game Boosts 2.0 improves any gaming experience on the device. Oppo Reno was designed with many details that enrich the user’s experience. The rear camera is completely hidden under the 3D glass, and so there’s no bulge but just a little ceramic dot, which gently lifts the phone avoiding the lenses to have any contact when the phone is placed on a flat surface.

Oppo Reno will be available in Ocean Green and Jet Black colours on 10th of May at the suggested price of 499 euros. Reno 10x Zoom will be available in early June at 799 euros and Reno 5G at 899 euros.
