The largest exhibition ever dedicated to Bruno Munari opens its doors

“Bruno Munari. Tutto.”, featuring 250 works by the master – including design objects, graphics, and pedagogical studies – will immerse us in his imaginative universe.

Located in the province of Parma, in Mamiano di Traversetolo, at the Villa dei Capolavori, home of the Magnani-Rocca Foundation, the exhibition curated by Marco Meneguzzo open to the public from March 16th to June 30th, 2024.

Bruno Munari. Tutto. (Bruno Munari. Everything) showcases seventy years of work by one of the most representative figures of twentieth-century design and visual communication, the Peter Pan of Italian design, as French art critic Pierre Restany described Munari.

A rich creative universe unfolds, ranging from design to graphics, from art to pedagogy, capable of spanning diverse fields, contaminating and enriching them, and developing a more structured modus operandi over time. Munari’s zigzagging approach has informed an exhibition path characterized by correlations and dialogues, rather than typological or chronological divisions, triggering a creative experience in the visitor’s mind.

“Munari is a very current figure in today’s liquid society, where there are no limits between expressive territories. He is an example of flexibility, of human being’s ability to adapt to the environment. His method consists of discovering the limit of the things around us and wanting to surpass it each time,” said Meneguzzo.
