Hurry up if you want to visit Arnaldo Pomodoro’s labyrinth in Milan

From the first of December onwards, the great work of the sculptor will be closed throughout 2024.

Throughout 2024, Arnaldo Pomodoro’s labyrinth – in Milan, at Via Solari 35 (entrance at the Fendi Showroom) – will not be accessible. The upcoming days of November will be the last opportunity to see it before a long break.

The labyrinth, whose visit lasts about 45 minutes, is a magical and evocative place inspired by the Epic of Gilgamesh. The work evokes distant times and vanished civilizations, but at the same time, it reveals important biographical and artistic milestones of the famous sculptor, through an introspective creative process.

The labyrinth thus offers itself as a journey into the artist’s imagination, where the unconscious, art, narration, and history blend into a fascinating whole, between reworkings of known sculptures and new forms in the making.

What if the edge could connect?
