All the new Apple emojis

Among others: a smiley that shakes for shock, a jellyfish, a pod, a goose and – finally – a pink heart, but also a hand that invites you to stop and wait.

Apple released the Beta 2 of iOS 16.4, and in addition to support for push notifications, news about the Podcast app, the arrival of Apple Music Classic, the classic music app, and restoring realistic animation when you turn a document page in the Books app, there are also 31 new Unicode 15 Emoji characters.

Among these only one Smiley, which already prefigures itself as extremely useful. It seems to shakes as did Linus upset by the screams of Lucy in the strips of Peanuts and is perfect to express how we feel when we are so “overturned” and hit by something to appear literally shaken and disheveled.

Then there are three new colored hearts, including a pink one, so we will no longer have to fall back on fuchsia; a moose, a donkey, a blackbird, a goose and – finally – a jellyfish; a pod full of peas, a ginger root and a hyacinth; among the objects the fan, a flute and maracas; two hands that make a sign to stop, wait or be silent, but that can also measure things; and last but not least the khanda, the symbol of Sikhism – formed by a double-edge sword, a two single-edged dagger and a chakkar, a circular throwing weapon – which represents the universal creative power and has been used to show solidarity within the Sikh community after the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting.
