Nautical design meets fashion: the megayacht Admiral by Giorgio Armani

The 72-meter yacht spread from the encounter between significant branches of Made in Italy design. It features neutral and restful colors, large windows, and impalpable curtains.

Giorgio Armani, in collaboration with The Italian Sea Group, designed the yacht “Admiral 72 by Giorgio Armani”. The layout of the yacht was unveiled on 11 February during an exclusive evening in which the designer also presented his men/women’s spring/summer 2023 collections.

The spaces of the yacht are flexible, separated by sliding partitions or by light curtains, that also protect from sunlight, leaving always glimpses of the sea. In addition to the design elements that come directly from the fashion house, the interiors feature large windows and golden details that make the earthy tones that characterize them shine. Instead of chairs, the tables have beige armchairs and there are obviously also large sofas, sprinkled with pillows on which to enjoy the view.

Founded in 1966, Admiral – the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group – has launched 148 yachts to date, from the first 18-meter-long wooden yacht to the boats of today, reaching up to 100 meters. With extreme attention to detail, the avant-garde design, and the elegance that characterizes its yachts, Admiral marked the Italian nautical tradition of the late twentieth century.

“Admiral 72 by Giorgio Armani” will be released in 2024.
