Apple opened a new retail destination in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: Apple Al Maryah Island. The new store, elevated above steps of cascading water, creates a direct connection from the sea to the shopping center The Galleria on Al Maryah Island, offering Apple products and a rich events schedule with a view over the shoreline amid city’s financial district.

To celebrate the opening, Apple has organized Future Today sessions, inviting local musicians, artists, entrepreneurs and educators to reflect the creative community of Abu Dhabi. Apple will also offer ongoing personal advice and guidance for local businesses and visitors can access a specially curated playlist, featuring United Arab Emirates artists.

The new store’s team – of more than 80 members – represent 28 nationalities and collectively speak over 30 languages, including Arabic, French, Hindi, Tagalog, and more.
