John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the latest in a string of celebrities trying to sell their New York City homes. Located at 374 Broome St., if both will be sold at the asking price the couple won’t have actually much profit, since they purchased one unit for $9.02 million in 2018 and the other one for $7.7 million in 2020.

“We’ve realized that because of work and everything, we’re really mostly going to be in Los Angeles,” said Legend. “So we’re going to focus our home-building energy and renovation energy on what we’re doing [there]”. Meanwhile, they still plan on finding a new home in New York that won’t require much work or renovations. “We love being there. But we’re just not there enough to justify putting in the time and energy to combine apartments,” Legend said.
