Dérive is the yoga that Guy Debord would have practised

Three online classes combine physical exercise with various art forms. Movements, words, images and sounds are combined into unique experiences.

Those proposed by Dérive and Nike Yoga are much more than just online lessons. The project developed together with the master Marco Migliavacca ([hohm] Street Yoga) is composed of three different multisensory experiences, real complex “situations”. Quoting the first issue of Internationale situationniste, we can in fact speak of “a moment of life concretely and deliberately constructed by the collective organisation of a unitary ambiance and a game of events.”

The collective dimension desired by Guy Debord and his partners is provided by the digital medium: with gyms closed and all forms of group sports activity banned, remote connection is the only one possible in this particular historical period. The three new video sessions – available for free with the Nike Training Club (NTC) app – are entitled "Folding and Unfolding", "Passaggi" and "Repetitions", and feature respectively the collaboration of producer Palazzi D'Oriente, singer-songwriter Sylvia and visual artist Luca Giudici (supported by M-Cube).

Bodies, words, images and sounds are the components of the spaces portrayed, which are neutral and aseptic, as if they were white cubes hosting performances.
