The 9th edition of Demanio Marittimo.Km-278 will be held on the Marzocca di Senigallia beach tonight, from 6 pm to 6 am. The project, curated by Cristiana Colli and Pippo Ciorra, celebrates architecture, arts and design in an outdoor location on the Adriatic coast. The main topic this year is Eurotopia, seen as the last “possible utopia” but also as a space for cultural development. Many performances and cultural discussions will take place close to the sea. Among the features explored, there is the relationship between architecture and urban requalification in connection with what happens in the small/medium size cities of Italy. In occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus’ foundation, Marco de Michelis will talk about this school, pillar of modern European culture. Communication design will be explored too: Alessandro Masserdotti of DOTDOTDOT in Milan and Marco Sammicheli will discuss the evolutions of this field. The moon landing 50th anniversary is remembered through a talk and the live performance Apollo 11 Reloaded by Maurizio Martusciello and Giulio Maresca.
