The curator of the exibition Giuliana Scimè writes on him: “Dobici’s investigation is essentially aimed at the individuals. Portraits in studio or in a natural environment. The subjects are isolated from their social context to index the attention on their most intimate characteristics. In the face of a celebrity or in an anonymous character, thanks to his introspective capacity, he is able to see the moment, the motion, the expression in which the experience has left signs of the human condition, common to all of us. Great landscapes with endless views and urban sights, opposite situations that both nevertheless represent the habitat of the human being, are the other themes represented in Dobici’s work with a singular aesthetical quality and coherence of research”.
