Stian Korntved Ruud developed a wooden cutlery set used by chef Edwin Vinke for a special edition of the “Experimental Gastronomy” in Amsterdam.

Focusing on materials natural and enforced properties designing and making objects with pure functional or aesthetic features, Norwegian designer Stian Korntved Ruud created a series of eating tool (50–60 pcs) for the Steinbeisser concept.

His project was choosen by Steinbeisser’s Experimental Gastronomy last edition with Edwin Vinke at the Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy in Amsterdam, besides others experimental-artistic interventions in tableware and, for the young designer it was a nice way to get a first hand experience in how people use wooden tools for eating.
