Maxim Maximov: Fon

Russian designer, researcher and naturalist Maxim Maximov created a series of minimalistic backgrounds for the nature samples to restore the balance between man and nature.

Maxim Maximov, Fon, Asketik
Produced by Asketik, Maxim Maximov’s project Fon is a series of minimalistic containers made in plaster or ceramics.
Different natural patterns can be laid on them, for studying them, and concentrating our attention on them.
We can have a rest from the daily bustle by filling these moments of meditation and peace with nature. On the background we can keep souvenirs brought from journeys or from walks in the park.
