Carolijn Slottje brings at the DDW a project which combines some plants’ ability to collect water from air humidity or rain with design to get these plants air borne.

Looking at nature reduces stress and plants have other special powers to, like removing chemical vapours. Creating more diverse systems to bring nature back in our indoor existence makes it fun to design green indoor spaces.
Some plants don’t need a pot, they stay mobile. In the wild they use other plants for support. The leaf structure makes it possible to collect water from air humidity or rain. Carolijn Slottje’s mobile feature makes it possible to apply plants in a different ways and create the feeling of a pending jungle.
