U table

For the U table, Korean designer Jiwoong Jung took inspiration from the lightness and flexibility of paper, translated into a metal coffee table.

U table is a low-height coffee table designed with the inspiration coming from the lightness and flexibility of paper.

Light and fluid feelings are expressed by giving gaps at the ends of the connecting parts between the frame and the upper plate.

Both ends of the metal sheet were precisely rolled to fit the frame, forming U-shaped upper plate. Square pipes were cut for supporting frame and welded to hold the upper plate in stable and solid posture. Leg frames and upper plate are separately made and the connecting parts are precisely welded. This product was finished with powder coating and also come in blue and black color.
