Madera: the soul of wood, nobly expressed

Pink, sky blue and light grey are revived in the glossy version, the typical colours of sanitaryware from the 1950s and 60s now come back into vogue. Fashionable colours that characterise and enliven a bathroom setting. The matt finishes are proposed in various shades of grey, from light to dark, but always with a very warm aspect. These new colours are not only available for the ceramics, but also for the bathtubs made in Pietraluce.

These new colours revitalise many Flaminia products that have now become classics in the world of sanitaryware. Flaminia's desire to continue interacting with different designers has led to a new interesting collaboration, that with Paola Navone, a prominent figure in contemporary design.

Three new product lines are proposed: Doppio Zero, a series of top mounted washbasins reminiscent of old-fashioned baking tins redesigned in brand new proportions; Boll, a series of round and oval shaped top mounted washbasins inspired by old oriental bowls, characterised by thin thicknesses and harmonious forms; and last but not least, Make Up, a collection of mirrors and ceramic wall and ceiling light fixtures inspired by the décor of a theatre dressing room.

Make Up is completed by benches and stools with a polished chrome metal structure and white ceramic tops. These collections convey all the irony and internationality coming from the delicate balance between East and West, which is typical of Paola Navone's designs.

Boll, the much-admired and increasingly popular series of washbasins designed by Nendo, now also comes in a round and oval shaped semi-recessed version.
