Ferembal House by Jean Prouvé

Until November 10th 2010, the Ferembal House by Jean Prouvé (Nancy – 1948) will remain on view in the Tuilleries Garden. Presented to the public for the first time during FIAC 2010 by the Galerie Patrick Seguin, the Ferembal House, restored then adapted by Jean Nouvel, perfectly illustrates Jean Prouvé’s research on dismountable architecture and nomad housing, which started out on the eve of World War II and continued long after.

Marble matters– exploring Carrara’s legacy

Sixteen young international architects took part in two intensive training days in Carrara, organized by FUM Academy and YACademy, featuring visits to the marble quarries and a design workshop focused on the use of the material.
