Covet NYC reflects creative designs, luxury, innovation and comfort

In New York, USA, Covet House and Tessler Developments designed a new showroom to reflect a luxury experience perfect for the high-end design lover. Ricardo Magalhães, Creative Director of Covet House speaks about the project to Domus Sri Lanka.

Covet NYC is more than a staffing project and showroom. Can you elaborate?
Covet NYC is also a luxury experience and the most powerful tool to boost an interior designer’s creativity, in the heart of New York. The modern architectural design of the building and the interior are the perfect combination for any high-end design lover. The luxury condo tells its own story. It was designed to include the finest amenities so it could be both practical and amusing. Can you elaborate on the design of the building and also the theme/concept of the interior?
The design of the building itself is inspired by the cosmopolitan, high rush and ultra modern look of New York City. Being situated in one of the most remarkable avenues in the city, so near the Empire State Building, it had to stand out. Regarding the concept of the interior, Covet House tried to keep up with the buildings inspiration, giving the interiors a luxurious, high-end and ultra modern look, being faithful to the overall aesthetics of the condo. Through the use of gold, black, beige and some nude colours, in combination with highly detailed and with superb design features of the furniture, the Mansion has an elevated design.

High ceilings and natural light are also key features; can you elaborate on this?
172 Madison is made for those who want more: More space, provided by the high ceilings nearly 11 feet tall and up to 23 feet in the SkyHouse. More light, with natural light provided by the amazing walls of glass, intensified by a brilliant and creative design, where Covet NYC inserts their most iconic designs so that each home has its own elegant style… 172 Madison is not just a place to live, it is a place to enjoy the cosmopolitan Luxury lifestyle of Today. Can you expand on this?
This coveted address is a place where a person can almost live without getting out of the building…
