Simple and powerful: raising the floor by half a meter and covering it with a thin veil of water was enough to overturn the perspective of the court of honor of the 17th-century Palazzo di Brera. On this new liquid pedestal, the statues that enrich the colonnade and, above all the Napoleon by Canova at its center, lend themselves to being viewed from a thousand angles, all very Instagrammable thanks to the play of lights and reflexes. At the corners, four black cubes offer just as many immersive experiences in the world of the German brand, which has been part of the Japanese brand LIXIL since 2014. The occasion includes the launch of the Grohe SPA, as Patrick Speck, leader of LIXIL Global Design, stressed, which aims at bringing the meaning of the acronym SPA back to its origins: “salus per aquam,” health from water.
