Vito Nesta’s exhibition, curated by Annalisa Rosso, is staged during Fuorisalone 2019 in the historic Grand Hotel et de Milan, famous for hosting in the past great personalities and artists, many of them connected to the Scala. Among these, the composer Giuseppe Verdi, who stayed for thirty years in this hotel located in the heart of Milan. Vito Nesta has created an exhibition that is deeply connected to the past, from which he takes inspiration to create a new design in which color and a large scale setting become co-stars of history and memory.
A site-specific project that offers visitors an immersive experience that is set between the original furnishing and that allows to discover the artist’s world. A focus is needed on leather, largely used in the exhibition and signed by Bonaudo, a leading company in the tannery sector.
