Estudio Herreros designed an exhibition space like a city, with a system of streets and squares and an urban setting, in line with the works on display that follow the trend of street art. EspacioSOLO is not only a gallery but also an archive and a meeting place. The space is located on the first floor of a 1920 building designed by the Spanish architect and urban planner Secundino Zuazo (1887-1971). The bare concrete of the walls, floors and ceiling enhances the colour of the works on display and helps to create a metropolitan atmosphere, as if the gallery were really a remote corner of the city’s outskirts.
