In Milan, from June 27 to July 24, the Deep Design Summer School promoted by the Scuola Politecnica di Design and coordinated by Cristina Morozzi, will be offering four summer design workshops.

The workshops, held in English, will each last a week and be based on different themes. Lovegrove analyses the relationship between technology and nature in “Superliquid” (27 June – 3 July) while “Reprocessing” lead by the Campana brothers (4-10 July) looks at reusing materials to create new designs and new functions. In “PinkTek” Matali Crasset explores the theme of accessible technology that simplifies everyday life (11-17 July). Finally Martí Guixé with “Prosthesis” looks at the subject of nomadism and its effect on our daily lives, such as the multiplication of electronic accessories that exist in symbiosis with our bodies (18-24 July). The workshops are open to students of design, architecture and communication as well as to professionals or lecturers. Those interested in registering can send their CV and digital portfolio to the school at summerschool@scuoladesign.com. Elena Sommariva
