In the Liberty building of the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, on the first floor, the project Restart by Maurizio Navone begins its journey. An exhibition of 10 selected products, 10,000 words by Michele Calzavara that tell the story, 1 multivision by Andrea Linke to visualise it.
A kaleidoscopic wall tableau of twelve Memory Boxes, the five serial stencils of the Remaster project in a dialogue with the great masters, the 45 series by Ettore Sottsass articulated in a multi-use drawer unit and chair bookshelf, reworkings of the high craftmanship of Finollo and Legni as a consideration of a possible design with nature.
The book Restart (Edizioni Corraini) describes the project, examining the processes, production qualities, narrative backgrounds in continuous dialogue with new contemporary products, with contributions from Carlo Antonelli, Emanuela De Cecco, Beppe Finessi, Roberto Linke, Emilio Renzi.
