For the 2007 collection from Officina Alessi, SANAA have worked once again with this Italian manufacturer. The Fruit Basket design follows on from the tea service designed for the Tea & Coffee Towers project where architects from all over the world were invited to design a table setting using cups, teapots and teaspoons and for which Sejima and Nishizawa designed an unusual fruit basket.

Today Fruit Basket retains the original poetic inspiration with a set of two cups and four teaspoons, a teapot, sugar bowl, milk jug, a round or concave tray, containers of various sizes all in stainless steel. F.C.
