Mirko Zardini to lead the CCA

Architect, lecturer, exhibition curator and author, as well as collaborator with leading architectural magazines such as Domus, Casabella, Lotus International, El Croquis and Archis, Mirko Zardini, is the new head of the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal as from November.

His plans however have already been made known, “greater attention to the world of contemporary architecture, perhaps opening up the centre to professionals” is just one of the proposals put forward by the new director whose priorities include however a search for public and private funding to increase the centre’s activities. Phyllis Lambert, founder of the CCA and current director will continue to be active as president of the administration commitee. E.S.
