An exhibition presenting architecture in Como designed for cinema and television production opens at 18.00 on Thursday 4 March, preceded by a press conference at 17.00.
Open from 4 to 30 March, at the ex church of San Pietro in Atrio in via Odescalchi, the exhibition has been curated by Ciro Mariani with technical coordination by Maurizio Vogliazzo and organised by the Associazione Exnext Eventi of Como and Milan.
Architectural drawings and a stimulating documentation show the creation of a citadel for cinematic and television production, from scientific research for the film industry, to media centres and performance spaces, set in the Lazzago plain.

Alongside the exhibition will be a series of meetings and film shows from the series “Cinema in dilumo” curated by Alberto Cano and Francesca Gamba, in collaboration with Mooka Movie.
Thursday 11 March at 21.00 will see the presentation of the Como Film Maker cinematic award which will be given in June, on Saturday 13 at 17.30 a selection of films from the Milano Film Festival will be shown, planned for Thursday 18 March at 21.00 is “Back stage. Il cinema esibisce il set” and the videomontage “Effetto cinema” curated by Mario Bianchi and on Thursday 25 March “Cinecittà. Storia e film dai più celebri studios italiani”.
