On the Alzaia del Naviglio Grande, an old industrial building is transformed into VersoVerde Hotel Milano, an urban micro-resort that blends historical memory, nature and contemporary comfort. The project by Linea Colombo srl, in collaboration with Paolo Bodega Architettura, reinterprets regeneration as a sensory experience: light filters through cuts in the roof and vegetation invades the volumes, creating a constant dialogue between interior and urban landscape.

The original double-vaulted structure of the industrial sheds becomes the centerpiece of the new composition, while courtyards and green terraces help regulate the microclimate and improve air quality. From the early design stages, RG2 Srl collaborated closely with the project team, carrying out the full range of bespoke joinery works—from the reception desk to the furniture in the guest rooms and common areas—as well as producing panels, suspended ceilings, and acoustic solutions, contributing to the cohesive identity of the interiors.

The building adopts principles of bio-architecture: natural materials, glass and light are calibrated to create comfortable and sustainable environments, while high-efficiency plants, photovoltaic panels and water harvesting systems complement an integrated green approach.

The thirty rooms, dining and coworking spaces, wellness center and sun terrace with jacuzzi offer an experience that blends relaxation, conviviality and contact with the landscape. The interior distribution favors fluidity and continuity, transforming the stay into a path between light, materials and greenery.

RG2 Srl, a Brianza-based company specializing in custom panels, furniture, and interior fit-outs, also operated as a general contractor for the supply and coordination of bespoke elements, translating the design vision into precise construction solutions through advanced technologies, carefully selected materials, and meticulous attention to detail.
