The Smart Home for well-being

  • Sponsored content

Gewiss offers a range of home automation solutions that combine connectivity, well-being and sustainability.

Simplifying complexity is a key issue that designers and manufacturers need to address, in the various areas and scales of design. The transformation of the home and domestic life, thanks to the recent smart home concept, means managing building automation functions in an intuitive and centralised way.

Governing complexity at home in favour of wellbeing and sustainability is the goal of Gewiss, which presents a complete new offering for smart homes.

The proposal stems from the company's broad interpretation of wellbeing, embracing health, energy, happiness, calm and satisfaction of mind and body. Gewiss proposes wellbeing that is suitable for everyone and possible for everyone.

The smart home according to Gewiss

Responding to the different needs of everyday life, Gewiss offers a series of devices that are linked to the concepts of protection, safety, sustainability, happiness, comfort and welcome: touch panels to manage and supervise the home system, special smoke, water and gas sensors, devices to manage household loads, intelligent touch tools...

Different solutions can coexist in this ecosystem, not only from Gewiss but also from third parties, which dialogue harmoniously with each other and guarantee wellbeing throughout the home.

The brain of the entire system is represented by Smart Gateway, a device in which all the information coming from the house and from the web converge. Built on a cloud platform, Smart Gateway manages all the devices in the house and collects data from them. Smart Gateway connects to a power outlet and, via wireless, to the home's modem router. With an app, all device functions can be accessed easily and remotely.

Smart Gateway: a thousand solutions, several protocols, one heart

Another innovative product from Gewiss is Thermo ICE WiFi, a touch-controlled chronothermostat that allows you to manage the wellbeing of your home remotely, thanks to a special app. To control the heating/cooling and humidification/dehumidification systems, the thermostat uses two-point and proportional-integral control algorithms. The Thermo ICE features integrated proximity, temperature and humidity sensors, an input for an external temperature NTC sensor and two on-board relays.
