Now in its 20th edition, the international trade fair dedicated to responsible construction, energy efficiency and building renovation will be held in Bolzano from 29 January to 1 February.
Talking about sustainability in the construction sector is not only an ethical choice. Today there is no doubt that advancing research into energy efficiency is a real necessity to reduce the environmental impact of buildings - new or existing - to improve the quality of life of people and to guarantee a future for the planet and for future generations. The Klimahouse international trade fair, which has been exploring the new frontiers of responsible building for 20 years, is a fundamental pillar in the dissemination of these issues.
In recent years, Klimahouse has become a reference point for all those who believe in a more sustainable future," said Thomas Mur, Director of Fiera Bolzano, during the presentation press conference held at the Green Media Lab in Milan.

One of the most eagerly awaited moments is certainly the presentation to the public of the 12 finalist projects of the Wood Architecture Prize 2025, the first national prize dedicated to architecture and construction in wood, and the announcement of the winners. This competition, now in its third edition, is promoted under the patronage and scientific support of the Iuav University of Venice and the Polytechnic University of Turin, in collaboration with Pefc Italia. The finalists include innovative works that combine design, functionality and sustainability, using wood as the central material, from kindergartens to former marmeries, to exhibition pavilions and homes.
Also attracting a large number of visitors will be the Future Hub, an area dedicated to 20 start-ups selected in collaboration with PoliHub, the Innovation Park & Startup Accelerator of the Politecnico di Milano. Here, revolutionary technologies for the building of the future, capable of responding to the challenges of the ecological transition, will be presented. The event will also host the Klimahouse Congress, a two-day event organised in collaboration with Agenzia CasaClima, dedicated to urban regeneration and sustainable architecture.
With a programme rich in content, Klimahouse 2025 confirms itself as an unmissable event for professionals, companies and curious citizens interested in building a more sustainable future. It is the ideal opportunity to discover trends, innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies for a more responsible and environmentally friendly construction industry.
