With its Marvel World project, Atlas Concorde reinterprets and pays homage to one of the oldest, most prestigious and deep-rooted traditions in Italy (and beyond): the use of marble in architecture. With its porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles, it is inspired by the most prestigious marbles of the Italian tradition. The technological excellence of the production process combines the elegance of the material with the application advantages of ceramics, for a stylistic universe with multiple potentialities. The Marvel universe expands with Marvel 3D: a capsule collection designed specifically for wall tile laying, combining the realism of products inspired by marble and travertine with the trend of three-dimensional reliefs that give the collection a modern and contemporary mood.

The Marvel 3D series originates from five essences of great elegance and topicality, taken from marbles already present in the Marvel world: Marvel Meraviglia, the collection that takes its name from Calacatta Meraviglia, the marble from which it is inspired and which gives the environment in which it is inserted a whispering elegance, and Marvel Travertine, in which the majesty of travertine marble lives again on porcelain tiles. Chromatic harmony and refinement are the common denominator of the five backgrounds, which feature a light material processing. Calacatta Meraviglia, with sparse and slender grey veins, and Calacatta Bernini, a precious Apuan marble, enhance the beauty of white marble; Light Majestic offers a compact light grey background, characterised by intense tone-on-tone veins; Travertine Sand and Travertine White, on the other hand, offer two different interpretations of travertine. On the one hand a warm beige, with ivory and hazelnut details, on the other lighter shades, with delicate sand-coloured nuances.

3D Crease is characterised by a geometric, modern and sophisticated workmanship that offers marble new architectural opportunities in a more contemporary guise.The three-dimensional effect appears and disappears depending on the lighting and laying direction, creating interesting chiaroscuro effects from a distance, while up close the slightly bush-hammered texture makes the surface realistic and sculptural.Field features a background with a slight three-dimensional texture and a matte finish that make this surface discreet and elegant, and therefore perfect for wall installation.The state-of-the-art glazing technique used in its production ensures that the surface is pleasant to the touch. The Field finish can be used alone as a wall covering, giving the room a strong personality, or combined with the matching floor of other Atlas Concorde collections. 3D Reed has a more textured, irregular and natural relief, interrupted by the imperfections of manual engraving: it reproduces the handcrafted touch and the effect obtained depending on the hardness of the inspiring material. It is a ductile solution that allows the architect to express his creativity: the laying direction and the lighting of the environment have a decisive influence on the final result, allowing multiple effects to be created. The vertical laying of the slabs, in particular, due to the nature of the relief, completely conceals the joints.

Marvel 3D products extend the combination possibilities with the other Atlas Concorde collections, with the possibility of creating interesting total look effects.Marvel 3D solutions, in addition to offering special reliefs and plays of light and shadow, guarantee several advantages compared to ‘traditional’ marble: they are easy to clean (a plus guaranteed also by the thickness of the relief being less than a millimetre), they do not stain, they do not require any kind of maintenance and they are scratch-resistant.
