Aluminium legs, wooden shelves and storage units: the furniture designed by García Cumini for Arper allows a variety of combinations to fit into any space.
Flexibility, customisation and practicality are key features of contemporary design, as they respond to the complex and changing needs and preferences of each individual. Add essential design, a wide range of finishes and colour compositions and you have all the ingredients of the Semiton modular system, designed by García Cumini for Arper.
The furniture is designed to adapt to any context, to which it offers structure, surface and space. It is characterised by the free combination of an aluminium base and a series of modules, for support and storage, whose free sequence responds to the various needs and configurations of the space. The finishes, which are perfect on both sides, make Semiton suitable for wall or room centre use, where it can be appreciated from all points of view.
The modular system consists of bases and shelves in two lengths, plus three modules in two different heights, available with doors, open or closed shelves on one side. The sculptural effect of the base adds a touch of refinement to the design of Semiton, which can become the characterising element of a room or fit delicately into any context. The modules can be individually customised with a wide range of MDF panels in vibrant colours, or with wood veneers, to create lively solutions or sophisticated monochrome effects.
The bases are made of aluminium, while the shelves are available in a range of wood veneers. The modules are finished on each side to offer the freedom of versatile use, and the overall elegance can also be found in the details, thanks to a system of concealed cable routing. All components are completely disassemblable and reconfigurable, designed to last.
