The porcelain stoneware surfaces of Cercom's Archistone collection reinterpret the textures, tonal variations and richness in detail of natural stone.
Stone architecture has always manifested its essence and character through an inseparable bond with the landscape and local culture. Buildings constructed in natural stone connect with their host territory and express a linguistic poetics that has been handed down from the remotest past to the present day.
Stone-effect porcelain stoneware reinterprets a material whose fascination lies in its ability to illustrate through variations in colour and veining the process of sedimentation that has marked its material over millions of years, making each variety unique.
The ambition of stone effect surfaces does not only concern the perfect rendering of the chromatic and morphological characteristics of the reference material, but also the re-proposition of increasingly rare varieties, which have finally become accessible thanks to the astonishing mimetic aptitude of stoneware, which makes it possible to obtain in minimum time (and with sustainable processes) what nature takes millennia to create.

Archistone, the new natural stone effect porcelain stoneware collection for interior and exterior projects, follows this path. The new surfaces represent the perfect balance between technical evolution and aesthetic research achieved by the Italian company Cercom.
The texture, compact and elegant, reveals a wealth of details that gives depth to the five selected colours, with discrete veining and tone variations inspired by the natural variability of the sedimentary mineral. The colour declinations, from the intense Archi Dark to the luminous Archi White, include Archi Grey, an extremely contemporary neutral grey, and two enveloping nuances, Archi Sand and Archi Taupe, to compose a palette suitable for any residential and commercial space.
The surface family offers a variety of formats, thicknesses and finishes that allow for use both indoors and outdoors, guaranteeing maximum continuity and fluidity between spaces. Mosaics are also available for installation on walls and floors to add a decorative touch to projects.
