A geometric frame that gives depth to the threshold and, with a 3D effect, seems to change as the light changes; a structural element that is usually concealed becomes a protagonist and gives the doors a new perspective; a type of shaping that recalls the splays and ledges of medieval buildings, but reinterpreted with a contemporary twist: the one introduced by Eclisse 40 Collection is a real revolution for doors and interior design.

Born from a brilliant intuition by designers Francesco Valentini and Lorenzo Ponzelli, the frame connects the rooms with a different solution for each side of the threshold: on the one hand the classic flush wall, on the other a new splay angled at 40 degrees that increases the perception of light and depth.

The sculptural aspect of the product is not the only relevant aspect. In fact, Eclisse 40 Collection is also fully customisable and designed to create perfect continuity with any wall. The primer coating allows the frame to be painted, in addition to the possibility of covering it with wallpaper, ensuring a play of solids and voids. Eclisse 40 Collection is also available in the metallic finishes of bronze and white.

Perfectly balanced between design and functionality, Eclisse 40 Collection is able to offer new perspectives by highlighting a usually invisible structural element. Similar solutions were only possible thanks to ad hoc masonry or plasterboard works, which usually require specialised skills, increasing costs and time.

For its versatility, elegance and practicality, the frame produced by Eclisse has won the Red Dot 2020 award and entered the ADI Design Index selection for the next Compasso d'Oro award. Eclisse 40 Collection completes a wide range of flush-to-wall solutions including sliding and hinged openings, compartment-closing doors and skirting boards.
