Energy efficiency and the production of clean energy are issues that are becoming increasingly relevant over the years and have also taken on primary importance in the field of architecture. This is why there is great expectation for MCE - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort 2022, the exhibition dedicated to civil and industrial installations, air conditioning and renewable energies. The event returns, after the stop due to the pandemic, in a hybrid format: from 28 June to 1 July at Fiera Milano and until 6 July with online services and initiatives.

The fact that the exhibition is a central appointment for updating and relations is clear from the partial data: to date, 90% of the exhibition spaces have already been occupied, with over 1,400 registered companies, 43% of which come from abroad.

As always, MCE 2022 presents a dense programme with conventions, workshops and events. It will provide an in-depth look at the most topical issues and the potential for development in specific areas linked to smart living and innovation: the 8th CRESME Report on the Plant Engineering Market will be presented; we will find the second stage of the Circular Economy Events, with a focus on the "States General: circular economy, circular city"; there will be a debate between companies, urban policy makers and professionals in the sector; MCE will present the research "Smart District in Italy: digital technology to support the ecological transition of industrial production processes, buildings and electric mobility", commissioned from the Energy & Strategy Group of the Politecnico di Milano.

The thematic workshops will be divided into four groups:
- "That's Smart", the area dedicated to electric mobility, building automation and systems enabling remote reading and remote management of services.
- "MEP BIM Forum" will deal with the use of digital systems for the design, installation and management of installations throughout the building's life cycle.
- Energy Efficiency 4.0" will explore the opportunities for energy efficiency in the non-domestic sector, with a particular focus on the agrifood, healthcare and hotel sectors.
- "WK - ISNOVA", with appointments dedicated to the Superbonus and all the updates provided by the tax incentive.
