Roca's Mediterranean spirit meets the latest innovations in water and energy-saving materials and technologies with its new collection: Ona (Catalan for "wave") is the result of a collaboration between the Barcelona-based Roca Design Center team and the international studios Noa Design and Benedito Design. The Mediterranean-inspired collection offers a wide range of functional, versatile products, adaptable to different design needs and to all types of bathrooms: private (main and secondary), hotels and other intensively used public spaces.

A perfect example of the flexibility of the Ona collection is the wide range of washbasins, which exploit the potential offered by the innovative ceramic material Fineceramic®. The washbasins are available in various shapes, types, sizes and finishes: in white, matt white and a third option with Supraglaze® coating. Fineceramic® makes it possible to create thin, light and sustainable products: it generates zero waste, all its components are natural and the reduction in weight reduces the environmental impact of its firing process and transport. For each washbasin, Roca proposes the right furniture option, with different solutions featuring drawers or doors, as well as additional auxiliary units of different heights.

Roca also presented a tap with a distinctive look, characterised by a slim cylindrical body, a flat rectangular handle and a spout with an elegant curved design. Here, too, aesthetics meet technology: the Cold Start opening system, the flow limiter and a ceramic cartridge with a reduced diameter guarantee greater efficiency, both in terms of water and energy consumption. Ona taps are available in four finishes: chrome with Evershine electrolytic coating, two new colours in the exclusive Everlux finish (Titanium Black and Rose Gold) and the classic Matt Black. The range also includes versions for shower, kitchen and public bathrooms, with touchless operation.  

The bathroom space is completed by different options of WCs and bidets – wall-hung, close coupled and floor-standing – available in modern matt white or the classic glossy white. As a third finish, the new Supraglaze®, in glossy white, provides an extra smooth surface, that inhibits the buildup of dirt, guaranteeing even greater hygiene in WCs and bidets. Finally, the Ona collection presents a wide range of accessories with a simple and functional character: storage trays, soap dispensers and tumblers are made of recyclable materials and available in three colours (matt white, matt grey and matt green) to create perfect colour matches in every project.

With this collection, Roca interprets in its own way the current trend for which the bathroom is the last outpost of our privacy, where we can think about our self-care and well-being. In a domestic dimension that is increasingly smart, multifunctional and shared, the bathroom must remain a comfortable, relaxing and "slow" environment. The Roca bathroom collection makes us feel closer to the sea, recalling the landscapes, lifestyle and values of the Mediterranean.
