If there is one place in the home where space is never at a premium, it is the kitchen. This environment is increasingly at the centre of our daily choreography and, combining beauty and utility, is to be considered much more than a service area: it is a multitasking space that represents a lifestyle oriented towards wellbeing and our convivial approach to food.

In particular, kitchen islands are capable of integrating the moment dedicated to preparation and the moment of tasting. This particular type marks the perfect encounter between functionality and sharing, leaving room for all budding chefs ready to put on a show.

Doimo Cucine is also moving in this direction with the new D12: a proposal featuring a spacious, monolithic island with an elegant snack top as an extension. The kitchen island is conceived by Doimo Cucine as an interface between cook, inhabitants and guests.

The defining element of D12 is its door, which is 12 mm thick (hence the product name). The door is made of 100% lightweight Alutex aluminium, and can be clad with sheets of different materials or painted. Another feature of this element is its generous size: 90 cm wide, with drawers that can be up to 150 or 180 cm wide. The refined, lightweight and recyclable system conceals a wide variety of accessories that make the kitchen super functional.

The kitchen island has an Ice stainless steel top housing the sink, hob and a recessed, concealed tower with Schuko sockets and a USB plug. The other appliances and the main pantry space are located in the rear columns, linear and almost invisible, completed by a modular wall-mounted bookcase with black metal shelves.
