Modern companies prefer open spaces in which to organise work spaces, areas dedicated to sharing and intimate zones for business meetings.

Citterio, a leading company in the office furniture sector, in recent years has produced several collections that interpret change and which stand out for innovation, production flexibility, high technological level and attention to detail.

The latest of these solutions is the W_SS series of acoustic cabins, a new technical and design response designed by Pinuccio Borgonovo and Citterio's technical office, which represents a renewed attention to natural and recyclable materials.

The W_SS system of self-supporting acoustic booths creates small cutouts of privacy within open-plan environments, which can be entrance halls of offices, hotels, community spaces, meeting rooms, classrooms for courses, internet points, break areas, etc..

Characterised by the 88 mm thick wooden structure, the cabins are reserved and comfortable places for work or meeting. The matt surfaces have a double finish, with sound-absorbing panels covered with fabric on the inside and a wooden foil on the outside.

The transparent parts consist of single or double glass modules, with sliding or hinged doors, in the uprights of which the ventilation and lighting system operating switches are integrated. The wooden parts are available in four finishes, while the soundproof walls and ceiling are covered with fabrics in 15 colours.
