Discipline: Pauline Deltour
For this new design brand, the young designer presents Roulé and Tourné, pieces whose names speak of the process behind their making.
Pauline Deltour presents a series of vessels and trays for Discipline, the new Italian design brand founded by Renato Preti. Roulé, a series of trays in three different shiny metals, uses an exaggerated round edge to convey the story behind its making. Similarly, Tourné, a series of wooden vessels and mohogany and ash, embeds in its gentle curves the process of its making by lathe manufacture.
