Designer Sam Weise has envisioned the concept of a dog lead for Nestlé Purina that would be more comfortable for the pet than usual leash and harness combinations, and more usable for the dog owner. The goal is to fix the pain points of a regular leash, like the action of tying the dog up quickly to a pole. To achieve that the concept includes a double quick release joint as part of a modular system. The dog collar is developed with premium materials and it’s studied to be both comfortable and extremely durable. There’s even a running grip made from silicone molding that makes it easier to run with the dog on leash. A few prototypes have been already produced, but it’s unclear whether this was just a conceptual project or if Purina really plans to bring such product to the market.
