Austrian company C Seed has announced a new gigantic outdoor television that will claim the title of world’s biggest. The C Seed 301, which will hit the market in 2020, measures 301 inches diagonal (hence the name) or 7.62 meters. The display structure, built out of super light carbon fiber and titanium, consists of seven rectangular panels that interlock when the tv is on and fold into a pole when off, so that the whole contraption can magically disappear underground in 25 seconds. The huge size comes with no compromise in quality: its 4500 nits, 4.500:1 contrast ratio, 48-bit color depth make the image shine in high quality even under direct sunlight. The tv also comes with 4K and HDR support, plus a sound system with six broadband speakers and three subwoofers for 2,700 watts of output power. If the C Seed 301 sounds like a description of a rich man’s quirk you’d expect to witness at a Wall Street investor’s garden party, well, it’s because it is:  it will retail for a hefty $1.5 million.
