Mattel Creations and Kartell have produced a limited collection of five Barbie-scale chairs inspired by Kartell’s iconic seats in Pantone 219C, the classic Barbie pink: the Louis Ghost, Masters, A.I., Venice, and Ero|S| chairs.
The small chairs are displayed in Mattel’s pop-up store occupying one of the five exhibition rooms of “The Vogue Italia Closet” by Condé Nast, aiming to support a new sustainable vision linked to the future of plastic, being made from 69% innovative bioplastics. Even the packaging is made of recycled paper. We hope that this refined vision of design and sustainability will soon be extended to all products within the brand as a whole. The cost of the five chairs is $60.
