The wall features a design where soil of various shades were stacked to make it look like they were cut and staggered, inspired by ice-cream cakes cut in slices. The wall’s soft curvature welcomes the visitors just like an envelope, and takes them into a warm space, where soft and subdued colours together with wood provide softness to the ambience.

Design and ceramics renew a shopping center
FMG Fabbrica Marmi and architect Paolo Gianfrancesco, of THG Arkitektar Studio, have designed the restyling of the third floor of Reykjavik's largest shopping center. Ceramic, the central element of the project, covers floors, walls and furniture with versatile solutions and distinctive character.
