The IQOS Pathfinder Project is a global cultural platform that supports the most creative and innovative talents who are searching for new ways to think, sense, taste, see. The IQOS Pathfinder Project sustains projects which reveal a particular inclination in experiencing the world without preconceived ideas, going beyond the boundaries of traditional thinking and activating a positive change. IQOS is Philip Morris International’s new HeatControl™ technology that is disrupting today’s tobacco business: an electronic system that heats tobacco and releases its flavor without burning it. In this way, it maintains many of the sensorial aspects and rituals linked to tobacco’s use but with no combustion involved.

Jardins d’Été is an immersive video installation by Quayola: a series of ultra-high-definition digital video paintings inspired by the French Impressionism and the late works of Claude Monet. Through the experimental use of technology – computational analysis of motion, composition, colour-schemes – Quayola creates series of algorithmic paintings, exploring new modes of visual synthesis.

Passages is a project by the design studio Panter&Tourron: a series of sculptural objects inspired by the heat actions on the matter. The heat becomes a real design element which  acts upon areas treated with thermochromic ink: under the heat action the ink unveils the  the surface beneath in a fluctuation of gradients and shades; traces of the passage from one state to another.
