For his first collaboration with Italian brand JCP, Rotterdam-based designer Richard Hutten took inspiration from Science Fiction movies from the Sixties. #MDW2017
For the first collaboration between Richard Hutten and Italian brand JCP the brief was Future-past. Richard took inspiration from Science Fiction movies from the Sixties which were to him the perfect answer to the brief: the movies are from the past and look at the future.
The result is a series of lightings which look like robots. Together they are a friendly happy family, not only to light op the room, but also to bring joy to the space. The family consist of three similar but distinctively different characters.Their highly reflective finish makes them look like from a ScFi movie and at the same time makes them blend in into any interior.
