
Design and ceramics renew a shopping center
FMG Fabbrica Marmi and architect Paolo Gianfrancesco, of THG Arkitektar Studio, have designed the restyling of the third floor of Reykjavik's largest shopping center. Ceramic, the central element of the project, covers floors, walls and furniture with versatile solutions and distinctive character.

Celebrating the curve, the designers enriched the iconic arched windows, in contrast with the Tuscan pink that invades the whole interiors along with deep sea blue. The main focus was to create a friendly and approachable all-day destination café in it’s Armadale neighbourhood, Melbourne. Searching for balance between the colour palette and the material library was a central focus in the development of a space that has a strong graphical layout.
