Uruguay comes here

At Designjunction six very carefully selected Uruguayan design studios presented their new design pieces, defined by sustainable processes and detail precision.

Six Uruguayan design studios introduced their products in the European market for the first time, exhibiting their latest work at the Designjunction, during the London Design Festival

“Our sole market is basically Brazil, so this year we wanted to explore Europe as well”, explains Rosina Secondi from Estudio Claro. “In Uruguay things go on a different speed: design is still young and is not as easy as it seems to find the right raw materials and to promote the finished products”.

The new products showcased, with the help of Uruguay XXI and the Conglomerate and Chamber of Design Uruguay, are functional pieces of furniture. Estudio Claro, Estudio Diario, Menini Nicola, Muar, Sámago and Sibille are the studios that have been meticulously selected for the occasion.
