Who’s Casper?

During the London Design Festival, Who’s Casper? asked 16 eminent creatives, from a variety of disciplines, to customise Michael Sodeau’s Casper stool.

This year Modus released the Casper stool, designed by Michael Sodeau and made from 100% recycled cork, the stool has two finger holes, which make it easy to manoeuvre.

These holes created an unexpectedly human and almost hopeful, expression. Casper took on a character of its own, a playful personality.

The customised stools were exhibited on Modus’ stand at designjunction during the London Design Festival and sold in an online auction with all proceeds going to Movement on the Ground, a foundation that supports refugees at the forefront of the European crisis.
