Konstantin Grcic renovated the iconic timepiece by Rado in high-tech ceramic, applying a velvety matte finish and renewing the typography on the dial.

Rado invited Konstantin Grcic to redesign its high-tech ceramic timepiece Rado Ceramica. The new watch model has evolved into a more classic watch shape, with the gently curved edges of the monobloc case taking center stage.

Limited to just 701 pieces, Konstantin Grcic’s signature model stands out not only for its velvety matt finish – the piece was previously best known for its high gloss feature – but also for the new typography on the dial. “The design of the dials is bold and legible”, says Grcic, “I took inspiration from pilot watches, I like them for their straightforward, clear graphics.”
