Studiopepe: Bright Tokyo

Fans, circular shapes, reflections and transparencies set-up the space of the MAX & Co. store in Milan, conceived by Studiopepe to celebrate the new flagship store in Tokyo.

Linked with the new opening of the MAX & Co. new flagship store in Tokyo, Studiopepe developed a set-up inspired by Japan, between tradition and modernity for the brand’s store in Milan.

The project reinterprets the symbol of silent communication: the fan. Fans and circular forms create a game of reflections and transparencies, as a metaphorical connection between the tradition and the light of contemporary Tokyo. For this reason Arianna Lelli Mami e Chiara Di Pinto – the two Italian designers founders of Studiopepe – have called this set-up Bright Tokyo.
