An architecture that comes from the study of the water spider and a material inspired by the pinecone’s behavior are two of the ten most shared, tweet and pinned stories of this month.

– Danish architect studio Gjøde & Povlsgaard Arkitekter created for Sculpture by the Sea 2015 The Infinite Bridge, a sculpture that is all about experiencing the surroundings and becoming aware of the relation between the city of Aarhus and the magnificent landscape of the bay.

– On view at NMNM – Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, the exhibition “Fausto Melotti” is devoted to a crucial period of the artist’s career in which Domus played a special role, as stated in the 1962 essay that we present anew here.

– Based on the study of biological construction processes for fiber-reinforced structures, the new ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion is inspired by the underwater nest of the water spider.
