ECAL/University of Art and & Design Lausanne presented its first ever show in the Gulf region at Design Days Dubai last week, exhibiting a selection of projects created by their Master of Advanced Studies in Luxury Industry & Design (MAS-Luxury) students.

This course of study, led by Augustin Scott de Martinville, is a ten-month programme that offers students from around the world the opportunity to work in collaboration with luxury goods manufacturers such as Audemars Piguet, Baccarat, Bernardaud, Christofle, Hublot, Nestlé, Nespresso and Zai.

This was the inaugural edition of Design Days Dubai, the Middle East's and South Asia's first fair dedicated to collectible and limited edition design.

The event took place at a spectacular purpose built venue at the foot of the world's tallest tower, the Burj Khalifa and exhibited collections dedicated to collectible and limited edition furniture and objects from 22 of the worlds' leading design galleries.
